Greetings, Stephanie!
Welcome to planDisney! I am so delighted to hear that your child has an amazing event planned at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I am sure marching at Walt Disney World Resort will be a core memory they will cherish for years to come. Adding the
Park Hopper option gives you a lot more flexibility when it comes to visiting locations that do not have Park Pass reservations available for the day. Currently, all four theme parks do require a
Disney Park Pass reservation for guaranteed access to the park of your choosing. And while Park Hopping does give you access to all four theme parks after the hopping window opens, you are correct. Should a theme park reach capacity, Park Hopping may be temporarily suspended. Here is all you need to know about Park Hopping during your upcoming visit.
Park Hopping is permitted between all four theme parks after the park hopping window opens, which is currently 2 PM. Be sure to check the
My Disney Experience mobile app during your visit to confirm these are the current hours, as they are subject to change. The app will also be your go-to source when it comes to pausing park hopping to specific parks. Theme parks do occasionally reach capacity. Although this is rare, when this occurs you will receive a push notification to your smartphone letting you know this location's admittance is paused. When hopping opens back up, you will receive another notification letting you know you can enter that park. My personal recommendation would be to head to the park where your child is marching right at the 2 PM window. It is important to note that you must enter the theme park you have a reservation for on that day before hopping. So, if you have not made a Park Pass reservation for another park, I recommend doing so as soon as possible. After you spend the morning exploring that park, you can head on to your next location!
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you will have front-row views of this momentous day for your family!
We'll see ya real soon!
