Hey there Belinda,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I, too, have a child who likes Frozen. And when I say "likes" I mean she "totally loves it, sings the songs all the time, and gets completely starstruck when meeting Anna & Elsa."
In my opinion, one of the most underrated areas in all of the Disneyland Resort is the Disney Animation building! The main lobby area has low-lighting, vibrant scenes on surrounding screens from Disney movies accompanied by fun lighting on the ground and songs from each movie. It's a great spot for a quiet and cool break during a visit with little ones. We love to see which of our kiddos can guess the movie first as they come up on the screens!
Also included in this building are multiple fun experiences for kids of all ages like
Turtle Talk with Crush, the
Animation Academy and
Anna & Elsa's Royal Welcome. The thing I love about the Royal Welcome experience is that it doesn't feel rushed. Your kiddo will get the opportunity to interact with Anna & Elsa and take lots of pictures. It's so great!
For full disclosure here, you asked for a comparison between the
Disneyland Resort and the
Disney Cruise Line, but I am a Disneyland Resort specialist here at planDisney and unabashedly biased toward the Happiest Place on Earth!
Luckily, wherever you choose to go, there are multiple opportunities to meet your little one's favorite Disney princess and snow queen, so feel free to Let It Go and choose wherever you think the most sense for your visiting party.
Thanks again for your question, Belinda! I hope you have such a wonderful trip - regardless of which route you decide to take.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
