MY CHILD 47.5 INCH TALL CAN SHE RIDE MOST RIDE?

    Hi Arthur,

Yes, indeed!  Your nearly four-foot-tall child may ride most of the attractions at Walt Disney World.  For instance, the fastest roller coaster in Disney's Animal Kingdom (Expedition Everest) has a height requirement of 44 inches.  Dinosaur, found in the same theme park, is for guests over 40 inches tall.  You'll find that your child will have a world of exciting rides to enjoy.  All of these height restrictions can be found on the individual attraction pages on www.disneyworld.com so you can check them out in advance of your vacation.

Do keep in mind, however, that just because a child meets a height requirement doesn't mean the ride is necessarily appropriate for them in other ways.  For instance, Dinosaur can be a very frightening ride for children who don't like dark bumpy rides with scary dinosaurs.  Feel free to discuss with Cast Members working at each ride what guests might expect from the experience.  Then you can make an informed choice as to whether your child will enjoy the ride.

Best wishes for an exciting and fun Disney vacation!
