Hi there, Alex! Welcome to planDisney, where my pals and I are happy to have you sail to us with your question.
I'd love to help you and your family feel prepared to have an incredible time enjoying all that is offered onboard the ship, for your toddler and preschooler. As it turns out, Disney Cruise Line's age policy is firm, and no child under the age of three is welcome to join the secured drop-off hours in the
Disney Oceaneer Club. With that being said, you are more than welcome to have your kids play together in the immersive and imaginative spaces just for children, so long as you accompany them during an
Open House time. There will be several Open Houses scheduled throughout your cruise, and you can keep track of them using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are onboard.
If you are looking for a space for your two-year-old, the
"it's a small world" nursery! is meant just for little ones under three. Reservations are required (as is an additional fee) and fill up quickly, so be sure to stop by on embarkation day to check out the space and book a reservation if you are interested.
There will be activities for the whole family to enjoy, such as Character Greetings, color time, crafts, and dance parties. As your children are potty-trained, they can enjoy multiple pools onboard, including a splash pad built just for their age range. I made so many wonderful memories with my children on their first cruise when they were similar ages to yours, and I'm excited for you to take part in the magic with your family.

Happy Sailing,
