My child doesn’t currently eat solid foods. To feed him, we prepare a nutritionally balanced shake every morning which includes frozen fruit, fresh fruit, and non-dairy milks. Are these things we would be able to bring and store on board?

Ahoy there, Rachel.  I'm glad you sailed by planDisney with your important question.

Homemade, precooked, or perishable foods or open food containers are on the list of prohibited items.  Electrical appliances such as blenders are also on the list of prohibited items.   Disney Cruise Line Crew Members are prohibited from storing, preparing, cooking, or reheating any food brought onboard by Guests.   These precautions are for the safety of Guests and crew members.  You will have a small refrigerator in your room, though.

I am unsure which ship you are sailing on, but Senses Juice Bar is located on the Disney Fantasy and the Disney Dream.  They serve blended beverages made with fresh fruit and vegetables at an additional cost.  Smoothies are usually available on the rotational dining menus, which can be viewed once you are onboard and connected to the DCL-GUEST wireless network. The smoothies are also at an additional cost.

Rachel, I suggest you complete a Special Services request to discuss accommodations with a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member. They are very helpful and can answer your specific questions concerning your son.  If you have any other planning questions, come back to visit us at planDisney.   We are happy to help!

    Happy Planning!
