    I have a child with the dining plan attached to my reservation. He plans on spending most of his time in the parks and dining with family not on our reservation. Can the staff at check in transfer his meals and fp to the family members reservation?

    Hi there Michael,

    Since your son has been included on your vacation package, his Disney Dining Plan entitlements will be attached to his personal Magic Band.  This is no problem, so just ask the family members accompanying your child to let the server know that he/she does have the Dining Plan, and they will be able to scan his/her Magic Band for payment at the end of the meal while processing other forms of payment for the other members of the group.  Be sure one of the adults in that group knows the 4-digit pin number created for that band, as it may be needed when settling up depending on location.
