We have a child with cognitive disabilities and use a disability stroller that doesn't fit in the stroller guidelines. I've heard there are disability exceptions, but how do we get it cleared at City Hall if we get stopped at security?

    Hi, Jennifer,

You likely have heard about the recent Moms Panel Update outlining upcoming changes to Disneyland Resort Park Rules, including eliminating in-park smoking areas, and park policy changes related to stroller size, stroller wagons, and ice. I've learned that these updates are done with great care, research, and deliberation, always with an eye toward improving the overall guest experience as much as possible. I appreciate how hard the Disneyland Resort Cast Members work to keep making it the Happiest Place on Earth.

As a parent of children with cognitive disabilities, I'm really grateful for the kind, understanding Cast Members and accommodations available at the Disneyland Resort. Even with the latest rules changes, the approach to making accommodations for guests with disabilities at Disney Parks remains the same. I recommend that you email or call Disney Parks Disability Services to obtain specific information regarding procedures for bringing in a stroller to be designated for use as a wheelchair.

I hope you have a magical time as you continue to visit the Disneyland Resort. See ya real soon, Jennifer!
