My child is 15 and classed as a child for the hotel booking, we have the free Disney dining plan for 2017. On my Disney experience my daughter is coming up as a child for the free dining but all the restaurants say child menu is for 3-9yrs old. Help?

Hi Amanda! I can understand how this can be very confusing when you have a child who is a child for the resort yet an adult for the dining plans. Actually your 15 year old will only be a child for the resort reservation so you are not paying for an extra adult in the room. For tickets and dining they will be considered adults and you must pay the adult price. There has been a lot of conversation about this since they set the prices a few years ago but it is what it is.

You are correct that your daughter is indeed an adult for the dining plans. I do not know why she is coming up as a child. Please check out the details about Free Dining offered at specific dates this year. You can see these dates and Restrictions and discover what is ahead for you. If you feel you have a problem with your dining plan then please call 407-939-5277 and ask for assistance in fixing the issue. I am sure you will have a wonderful vacation coming up soon!
