I see that it is $27 for a child at chef Mickey. Is that the price for an infant 1 and 2 years old?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, John. I'm so glad you've stopped by to chit-chat a little bit about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. I see that it is in just a few weeks' time. I bet you are getting so excited!

John, I think that you'll be happy to know that Guests under the age of 3 are special Guests of my pal, Mickey Mouse. Because of this, children under the age of 3 can dine for free at Walt Disney World restaurants. At all-you-care-to-enjoy places, like Chef Mickey's, your under the age of 3 child is more than welcome to have as many of his or her own plates as they would like. If you are dining at a restaurant where you order a single entree off of a menu, your under the age of 3 child can plate share free of charge. If at one of these types of restaurants, like The BOATHOUSE, you would like your child to have his or her own meal, only then would you need to pay. Anytime you see children's pricing at Walt Disney World this is referring to Guests ages 3-9. Adult pricing starts at 10 years and older.

I can't think of a better way to start off the day than a smile and wave from Mickey Mouse and some of his friends. Not to mention a delicious breakfast! That's going to be so much fun. I absolutely love their current breakfast menu and I am a big fan of it being served family-style right to your table. During your meal, you'll find offerings like fruits, yogurts, sweet rolls, eggs, breakfast meats and we can't forget about Mickey waffles. You'll also be able to enjoy some signature items like the loaded potato cheese casserole and my favorite - banana bread french toast. Because it is served family-style if you want more of something all you have to do is ask your server and they will be more than happy to bring it out to you. At the end of your meal, you will receive a special keepsake signed by Mickey and the gang to take home with you. It's a fun little way to remember your meal.

I hope this helps, John. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have fun and enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
