Hi Nicole!
The Children's Activity Centers at
Walt Disney World were such a fun addition to our vacations. My kids loved going to Lilo's Playhouse at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for all of the fun activities they offered. Unfortunately, they have all closed with no rumors of returning. Such a bummer! I always like to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for special announcements. If anything similar is to return, the blog is the first place it would be announced.
If you're looking for an option for childcare during your vacation, I highly recommend Kid's Nite Out. They are a babysitting service that comes right to your Disney Resort hotel room! I have used them several times when my children were younger and have nothing but rave reviews about it. All of the sitters are background checked, trained and come with age appropriate activities to do with your children. This service is a great option if you're looking to spend some adult-only time around Walt Disney World.
Nicole, I see you'll be visiting at the end of the month, which is right in the heart of
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. This is one of my favorite festivals at EPCOT during the year because of the various creative offerings they have. I was in EPCOT a few days ago and the food studios were already starting to set up. The
festival menus look incredible and so artistic! The Paint by Numbers Mural is a favorite for my family since we get to participate in art being made in real time. This festival is also a great opportunity to purchase and take home a beautiful piece of art as a lifelong memory of your trip!
Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
