Is child care available at the campsites at fort wilderness

    Hi Kori!

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is my favorite Walt Disney World Resort!  We love to tent camp here as well as have lazy days in the cabins.  The peacefulness of the Resort while being so close to the magic is what I love the most!

Kids Nite Out (click the hyperlink or Google search for Kids Nite Out) is the babysitting service that Walt Disney World recommends and we have used them a few times in the past for date nights while on vacation.  I have nothing but fantastic things to say about the company and the sitters we've had.  I gave them a quick call to ask about the campsites and was informed that they will provide a sitter to the campsites, but you must have an RV with a working bathroom inside of it.  Tents or small RV's without a bathroom do not qualify for their services.  There are no other restrictions.

If you still qualify, you can discuss with your babysitter what the boundaries are with your kids.  Fort Wilderness is a big Resort with tons of outdoor activities.  You can give them permission to take them for walks, watch them play outside, ride bikes or take them to get food if you feel comfortable.  They are not allowed to take them to the pool.

Please stop back by if you have any additional questions!

    Have a magical day!
