Hi Rui! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
Our children enjoyed the parks as little Guests of Mickey prior to their third birthdays. In fact, we celebrated that momentous birthday in the theme parks, so I've also had questions about the timing of
admission ticket needs as the planner in my family. Entry to the parks requires a valid admission ticket or
theme park reservation after a child turns 3, and a birthdate rather than a birth year is what defines a 3-year old. Since your son already celebrated his birthday, he will need his own ticket and theme park reservation.
With a little one in your group, I'd suggest heading over to the newly reopened and reimagined
Mickey's Toontown at Disneyland Park. The attractions are perfectly suited for your son's age, he can meet his favorite Characters, and there are open spaces to run and play, which can be very helpful after queues and sitting in a stroller. I am looking forward to checking out Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway in Mickey's Toontown with my little guys.
I hope you have the most magical visit!
Elizabeth
