I have a child with autism, so we are weighing alternative fireworks viewing spots in MK. But I also read online (in some older posts) that you may be able to view Happily Ever After on hotel resort TVs? Is this still true?

Greetings, Kendra! Welcome to planDisney! As a fellow northerner, I’m sure you’re using thoughts of sunny Walt Disney World to help keep warm during this frigid Midwestern winter. Or at least that’s what I do! I strongly recommend thinking about walking through Adventureland with a Citrus Swirl the next time you have to shovel snow. Warms me up every time.

I remember seeing Happily Ever After as a streaming option on my room’s smart TV the last time I visited Walt Disney World Resort. Just to make sure nothing has changed since then, I chatted with a fantastic Cast Member and they assured me it is available at all Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Woo hoo!

If you’re looking for other alternate fireworks viewing locations, then I’d add the beach at the Polynesian Village Resort to your list of options. It’s not the full experience, but sitting on the sand with a DOLE Whip from Pineapple Lanai or a HippopotoMai-Tai from Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace while watching the fireworks is pretty awesome. If you’d like to stay inside the Magic Kingdom then I’d recommend viewing the show from Fantasyland or Frontierland, where it won’t be as crowded.

Kendra, be sure to check out the services available to neurodivergent guests at Walt Disney World, and don’t hesitate to call a Cast Member or send additional questions to planDisney.

I hope you find your happily ever after!
