Hi there, Kimberly, and welcome to
planDisney!
Your visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth is almost here – time to get excited! But I also understand how important it is to ensure your daughter enjoys a comfortable experience, too. I have some ideas that may help guide you as you continue planning your vacation.
For starters, it sounds like your daughter may benefit from
Disability Access Service (DAS), which is designed to accommodate Guests who aren’t able to wait in a conventional queue due to a disability. Now, the Disneyland Resort is making it easier for Guests to register for DAS ahead of time with a new system called
DAS Advance! DAS Advance will allow you to
pre-register online with a live video chat as early as 30 days in advance of your visit, and no less than two days before. So, hopefully you can set this up soon!
During your registration chat, you’ll have the chance to book up to 2 one-hour return windows
for select experiences, subject to availability. This is in addition to the regular DAS benefit of making return-time selections throughout your day.
If for any reason you aren’t able to register for DAS before your visit, you can also register at the Disneyland Resort upon arrival at City Hall (in Disneyland Park), Chamber of Commerce (in Disney California Adventure Park), or any
Guest Information location.
Also,
here's a helpful page offering plenty of information to help you plan your visit, Kimberly! It covers everything you’ll need to know, including where to find companion restrooms and break areas throughout the theme parks. If you have any additional questions before your trip, you can also
call Disability Services, or send an email to disability.services@disneyland.com.
Last but not least, here's the
Entertainment Schedule for your arrival day, so you can start mapping out your magical plans. Please don’t hesitate to stop by with any additional questions you may have… that’s what we’re here for!
Wishing you magic,
Kristin
