    I have a child with Autism. We are planning a trip to Disney for this summer. A friend told me about a pass that Disney has for visitors with disabilities. Can you tell me how I would go about getting this for my son? Thank you so much.

    Hi there Kate,

    Thank you for your question. I too have a son on the Autism Spectrum. Visiting the Disney Parks is one of our favorite places to spend magical moments at. Seeing his face light up as we stroll up to the entrance is such a heart-warming time.

    The Disney Parks has a card called the Disability Access Service Card (DAS) which is designed to accommodate Guests who aren't able to wait in a conventional queue environment due to disability (including non-apparent disabilities). You will visit the main entrance Guest Relations to discuss your son's special needs and concerns with the Cast Member to see if the Disability Access Service Card (DAS) would benefit your son's needs.

    There is also a helpful section on services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities on the Disney Parks website that I recommend reading.
