Hey there, hi there, Lydia. Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney to ask us your important question.
From opening day with Walt Disney's famous speech to the present day, Disneyland Resort is a place for everyone and continues to take steps to make sure that everyone feels like a welcomed Guest. If you think your child may qualify, there is
Disability Access Service. This service is something that you need to register for and if approved will allow your party to request return times for attractions that are comparable to the current wait times. This allows you to forgo waiting in the standby line which may be difficult for your child. Previously, this was something you would need to register for when you arrived at the park for your first day at City Hall. This is still an option, however, now there is also an advance registration option that allows you to do a virtual call with a DAS Cast Member up to 30 days in advance to 2 days before arrival. Another bonus to pre-arrival registration is that you can book up to two one-hour return windows for select attractions.
I highly recommend trying to get pre-arrival registration with DAS Advance. Your child will need to be present for the call. You can request the live chat on the
DAS Advance page. I do not know if there is a party size limit, but you will need to make sure that all party members have their tickets and that they are all linked to your account so they can be included in the DAS plans.
Once you are registered, you will also be able to make return time selections in the
Disneyland app once you have arrived in the parks.
Lydia, thanks again for stopping by! I hope your family is able to make magical memories on your visit to Disneyland Resort. See you real soon!
Carrie
