Welcome to planDisney, Samuel! I'm always glad to be able to answer a question from a fellow Texan.
Disney MagicMobile Service is a convenient way to access some of the contactless features of
MagicBand+ using your iPhone, Apple Watch, or an Android device with Google Pay. You can just tap your phone or watch to touchpoints to gain access to the Theme Parks or
Lightning Lanes if you're using
Disney Genie+ Service. You don't even have to unlock anything, your ticket just pops up like magic!
To be able to use Disney MagicMobile on your Apple Watch, it needs to be connected to an Apple Wallet. Since family sharing allows you to decide which features you want to enable on your child's watch, their ability to access a mobile wallet depends on how you've configured the setup. If the watch is not currently paired with an iPhone, it likely does not have access to the Wallet app and would not be able to use Disney MagicMobile. It may be possible for you to change these settings, so I recommend you check out the documentation that came with your watch or get in touch with Apple so they can help you out.
Samuel, even if you aren't able to connect Disney MagicMobile to your child's Apple Watch, you can store up to 11 passes in your mobile wallet so you can manage admission for them using your own phone or watch. You can scan one, swipe, and scan the next one until your whole party has been scanned. It only takes a few seconds and it's one of the easiest ways to access
your tickets!
Have a magical day!
Jessica
