Can a child that is almost 3 and potty trained go in the kids club rather than the nursery?

    Welcome to planDisney Melissa!

Taking a little sailor on a Disney Cruise is so much fun. They will enjoy splashing in the pools, dancing on deck at the Sailing Away Deck Party, and the unlimited ice cream at "Eye Scream Treats." Your service team at dinner will treat the little ones like royalty and will make sure they get to enjoy all their favorite foods.

Children must be 3 years old to access Disney's Oceaneer Club. However, the clubs have "Open House" hours (parents must stay with their children) so perhaps that will be a good time to explore and enjoy the Oceaneer's Club. Check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for times.

At this time the "it's a small world" nursery is closed. Keep checking the website for any updates or information.

Your little one might enjoy his/her very own My Cruise Adventure booklet. Download and print from home. It is a great way to prepare kids for what to expect during a Disney Cruise. Plus, it is a lot of fun with activities and coloring pages.

I hope you find plenty of magic around every corner on your Disney Cruise! Bon Voyage!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
