    My child will be age 10 for the trip to Walt Disney World. We have reservations at Be Our Guest and Storybook Dining. We do not have the meal plan. Can my child order from the kids menu even though the menu says ages 9 and under?

    Hi Kelley!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Congratulations on securing dining reservations at the both Be Our Guest Restaurant and Storybook Dining at Artist Point. These are two of my favourite restaurants at Walt Disney World, and I also have reservations booked for both of these for my next trip!  When you enter Beast's castle you will be entranced - please try and explore all three dining rooms, regardless of where you are seated.  You may even see the Beast's enchanted rose in the West Wing study.  At Storybook Dining at Artist Point you will be visited by Snow White, along with Dopey and Grumpy for photos at your table, and if you are brave enough you can meet The Queen after dinner!  If you have time, I recommend that you explore the grounds of Disney's Wilderness Lodge, beside Bay Lake, and have a good look around the stunning lobby. The Walt Disney World restaurants are very accommodating if Guests have any particular dining requests. Discuss with your server that your child would be more comfortable choosing food options from the children's menu, and I am sure they will do all they can to assist you.

    It's worth noting that if you are using the Disney Dining Plan to pay for everyone at your dinner, they may not be able to offer the same flexibility of choosing from different menus.
