Bonjour, Scott, and welcome to planDisney, where we don't like food....we LOVE food!
At
Chefs de France, you'll find that Mrs. Potts has the napkins freshly pressed with soupe du jour and hot hors d'oeuvres, and they only live to serve! And in the words of Lumiere, "Don't believe me, ask the dishes!"
Scott, I was in EPCOT just last month with two of my panelist friends, Kay and Wes, and we had dinner at Chefs de France. I am happy to let you know that although the atmosphere and food feel very upscale, there is no specific dress code. I noticed a few Guests dressed up, but for the most part, Guests were dressed in typical theme park attire.
If you plan to visit Chef de France, I recommend making an advanced dining reservation. With dishes like Ratatouille Provencale and Boeuf Bourguignon, you'll feel like you're in a true French café. While all the dishes we tried were magnificent, my friend Kay would tell you that the French bread service was exceptional on its own.
I know you won't leave Chef de France hungry, but if you have any room for dessert, check out
L'Artisan des Glaces just a few steps outside the restaurant. Their Croque Glacé is frequently featured in social media reels, and it's popular for good reason.
EPCOT is the perfect destination for delicious food. Whether you're in the mood for a juicy steak at
Le Cellier Steakhouse, authentic tacos from
La Cantina de San Angel, or my personal favorite restaurant in all of Walt Disney World,
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria, you'll find the food at EPCOT is never second best!
Scott, let us know if we can help you with any other restaurant questions. Thanks for visiting us, and be sure to follow us on
Instagram for even more tips and recommendations. Have a magical vacation!
Bon Appetite,
Shonette
