We have a 9 AM Chefs de France reservation at EPCOT on Oct. 24, which is also race weekend. I’m confused about park opening that day. I heard EPCOT opens at 10 AM. How would we enter the park for our 9 AM reservation?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Bianca!

Your Walt Disney World adventure is just a few weeks away. To quote a very famous mouse, “Oh Boy!” I’m sure you’re counting down the days, hours, and minutes until you arrive at the Vacation Kingdom of the World.

You are correct that RunDisney races can impact theme park opening times on occasion, but you shouldn’t have any issues getting to Chefs de France for your breakfast reservation on October 24th. According to the Hours & Events Calendar, EPCOT is currently scheduled to open at 9 AM, or 8:30 AM for Early Entry, that day (park schedules are subject to change). It looks like EPCOT will open at 10 AM on October 23 and October 25, with Early Entry for both days being 9:30 AM.

If you do run into a situation where you have a dining reservation before a theme park opens, then just look for a Cast Member near the park’s main gate. Show them your reservation information, and they’ll direct you to the appropriate entrance so you can reach your dining reservation on time.

I hope you have a wonderful visit and a delicious breakfast at EPCOT, Bianca. Pop right back if you have more vacation planning questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
