    We have 7:30 am Chef Mickey's reservations and we are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside. It sounds like we won't be able to get there by bus for our reservation. Is this true? If so, what are our alternatives before I change the reservations?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad you stopped by with your question!

    In order to get to your dining reservation at Disney's Contemporary Resort from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, you'll need to take the bus to Magic Kingdom Park. From there, it's a short walk over to the Contemporary or you could take the resort monorail if it has started operating for the day. Bus service normally begins 45 minutes prior to park opening. Since you are a resort Guest, you should be able to let the Cast Members know when you check-in that you'll need an earlier bus in order to make your reservation and they should be able to accommodate you. As a last resort, you could always take a taxi or a car service like Uber. I used Uber a few times on my last trip to get from one resort hotel to another and found it to be very reasonable in price and also very quick and easy.
