    Hi! We have Chef Mickey's on 9/20 for 9:15pm. We are staying at POR. Will buses still be running when we are done and how is the best way to get back? Also have Park Fare at 7:45 on 9/19. Can we see fireworks from there and will we be done eating in time?

    Hi Celise,

    Since the Magic Kingdom closes at 7 pm on September 20th, the best way to get back to Disney's Port Orleans Resort after a fun, late evening meal at Chef Mickey's is to take a bus to Downtown Disney from Disney's Contemporary Resort and then transfer to a bus headed to your home resort.

    On the evening of September 19th, you most certainly will be able to view the 9 pm showing of Wishes from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort (but not from your restaurant).  My advice is to proceed to the boat dock at this resort for a breath-taking view of the fireworks display.  Since dinner at 1900 Park Fare is a buffet, you can largely control how long your meal will take.  I suggest you show up for your reservation at least 20 minutes early in the hope that they might seat you a bit ahead of schedule.  That way you'll have plenty of time to conclude your meal and then head out the back of the resort to enjoy Wishes!  After the fireworks, grab a boat back to the Magic Kingdom and board a Port Orleans-bound bus there.
