At chef mickeys do you have to get the buffet at Chef mickeys and pay less

    Hiya Sherry!

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your Chef Mickey question. Oh, my goodness, Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary Resort is such a fun and classic Disney experience. There is just something extra magical about dining with Mickey and Minnie while the monorail glides right through the resort overhead. My girls always have their autograph books open and pens ready because once Mickey and his pals start making their rounds, the excitement is nonstop.

One of our favorite little games while we wait for our table visit is guessing which monorail color will zoom by next. It adds even more Disney fun to an already magical meal. And of course, seeing Mickey and Minnie up close always feels like the highlight of the day.

Now let’s dive right into your questions. Chef Mickey’s is an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet. That means there is a set price for the meal, not a traditional menu where you order individual dishes. The buffet is incredibly expansive with so many different options to choose from. Every time we go, I am surprised by just how much variety there is. From kid-friendly favorites to more hearty selections, there is truly something for everyone at the table.

If you have any allergy concerns, I absolutely recommend speaking with a Cast Member when you arrive. Disney does a wonderful job accommodating allergy-friendly requests, and they will guide you through safe options so you can dine with confidence.

Before you leave the Contemporary, I also highly recommend stopping into Bayview Gifts, located just across from Chef Mickey’s. It is one of my favorite souvenir shops. They carry a great assortment of Disney merchandise, from designer collections to adorable bags, shirts, and even fun kitchen items. Somehow, I always walk out with something I did not even know I needed.

Sherry, I hope this helps answer your question and gets you even more excited to dine with Mickey and Minnie. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to visit us again.

    See you real soon,

    Christina
