Is Chef Mickeys still a buffet and will we have characters stop at our table

Hello Lynda! I had the delicious opportunity to dine at Chef Mickey’s at Disney's Contemporary Resort back in May with some of my fellow planDisney panelists! I'm happy to share our experience!

Chef Mickey’s is not a traditional buffet, but it is all-you-care to eat! The Cast Member serving your table will continue to bring servings to your table as long as you keep requesting them! I really enjoy breakfast at this character dining location! We keep the servings coming to our table!

Keep your camera ready as you dine! The head chef, Mickey, and all of his pals will make their way through the dining areas of the restaurant! While they will not make individual stops at your table, they will visit close enough to capture some great photos with the characters in the near background! They also take a few moments to give individualized attention to each table. Guests are respectfully asked to remain seated as the characters make their way around the restaurant.

Lynda, at the end of your meal be sure to request an autograph card! They are a treasured memento from the dining experience! In fact, I like the new autograph cards more than the traditional autograph book style of collecting character autographs! The autograph cards make for a great display or collectible!
