I have a Chef Mickey reservation at 10.55 am. We are not staying on property. Can I park my car at the resort and leave it there all day as we are going to The Magic Kingdom after our breakfast and is there self parking at that resort or do I have to pay

Hiya, Rich! Welcome to planDisney! I always say food just tastes better when it is Mickey-shaped. But there is something even more magical: when it is created by Chef Mickey himself!

I had the pure joy of joining Mickey and his pals at Chef Mickey's last month with my three-year-old nephew. It was the perfect location to take him to start a special day with just the two of us. You are in for so many treats! We, of course, had Mickey Waffles. And he was such a huge fan of Mickey's POG juice that he had me take three videos of him saying "DEEEEE-LISH-OUS!" to send to his parents.

You have two options for parking for your breakfast at Chef Mickey's. You can park at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Resort parking is complimentary for Guests while enjoying the amenities of a resort. After your breakfast, you would need to drive to the parking available at Magic Kingdom Park for your time there.

I think the other option would work well for your magical day. (It's what my nephew and I did.) In the morning, you can go ahead and park at the Magic Kingdom. From the Transportation & Ticket Center, you can take the Disney Monorail and hop off at the Contemporary Resort. The best part of this option, after breakfast, you are ready to go! You can take the Monorail to Magic Kingdom or you can walk. Either way, you go through security as part of the Contemporary Resort, where the lines always seem to be short. And you will be in the park in minutes!

Oh, boy! Oh, boy! Oh, boy! Eating Mickey Waffles with Mickey and his pals stopping by for a hug, high five, and photos while a Disney Monorail flies through the resort... it is the best of everything Disney all in one breakfast. Hot dog!

If you have any other questions, please come back to planDisney where you are as welcome as can be!

    See 'Ya Real Soon!
