Hey Megan
Welcome to planDisney! Congratulations on having your cheerleading team making it to Nationals! What an accomplishment and what an exciting adventure to do it all together in warm Walt Disney World. (As a cold fellow New Yorker I am jealous!)
Now,
reassigning tickets to others is not that hard, however, you need to have some things set up first. Everyone that you want to share with must be on your
Family & Friends list on your
My Disney Experience account. Sign in to your account, head to "Family & Friends list" and select "Add a New Guest." There are a few options but if the person on the cheerleading team has their own My Disney Experience account or a Disney Resort Reservation with their name on it you can link them to that. A profile can be created for a child under the age of 13 simply by adding their name and age. Since you created their profile you can manage their plans. If a child is over the age of 13 they create their own account and you can connect with them using their Disney account email. Then head to your main
My Disney Experience page and just reassign any tickets you have to any of the people on your Family & Friends list.
If you purchased your ticket another way and it's not yet linked to your account, you will click on Park Tickets under your My Disney Experience Account. Then click "Link Tickets" and insert any ticket numbers you were given. After you add the ticket number you can then assign it to someone from your Family & Friends list. Be very careful when linking and assigning tickets as it can get confusing when doing a lot of people and the page may load slowly. Just take your time, note on paper which ticket went to whom, and have it on hand in case someone loses something. Once the tickets are reassigned the cheerleaders should be able to
link them to MagicBands or
smart devices for easy entry into the Parks. If linking tickets to smart devices it is called
"MagicMobile" and it will let you use certain devices instead of MagicBands or cards to enter the Parks.
Don't forget to secure
Theme Park Reservations for every guest who wants to enter the Parks as that is now a requirement for entry.
If you have any more questions and time is running out please call
Guest Relations and they will be more than glad to help. As always, planDisney is here to help as well!
Have a great time and good luck!
