I want to cheer for my husband for the 2016 1/2 and am wondering if there are any good plans for spectators. I want to go with him to the start, go to MK once he goes to the corral and meet him at the finish. Using WDW transportation, is this possible?

    Grettings, Alicia!

Thank you for your great question! Trying to create a transportation plan to spectate can be confusing on race morning. You have a great plan! Here's what you need to do to execute it.

    • If you are staying at a Walt Disney World® Resort Hotel, event transportation will be provided for all race activities - even for spectators! On race morning, board the bus with your husband to the Start Zone Area at Epcot. Once there, you will take the Monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center and then transfer to the Monorail to the Magic Kingdom. Once he has run through Magic Kingdom, return to Epcot via the Monorail and walk over to the finish line and Family Reunion Area. After he has completed the race, you can both take the race transportation bus back to your resort.

    • If you plan to drive in on race morning, you will park at Epcot and then use the Monorail System as mentioned above. The Monorail is your only option in getting to/from Magic Kingdom on race morning.

I hope you find this helpful, Alicia! If you have any additional questions as you prepare your spectator plan, please let me know! I am here to help.
