If we check-out of a hotel, can we still leave the car in the car-park until after we have been into the parks that day??

    Hi David,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I'm thrilled to hear that you already have a reservation at one of the terrific Walt Disney World resorts for your vacation later this year.

There are a ton of benefits of being a guest at a Walt Disney World resort, including free parking. I always feel like my vacation begins the second I put my car in Park at the resort, knowing that I can depend on Disney transportation to carry me from place to place for the rest of my trip. You are welcome to park at your resort from the morning of check-in until 11:59 pm on the day you check out.

You are also welcome to use the resort's amenities on the days you arrive and depart. So feel free to lounge by the pool; take a Disney bus, monorail, boat or Skyliner (depending on your resort) to one of the theme parks or Disney Springs; shop for last-minute souvenirs; or have a final meal inside the Disney bubble.

Of course, you can spend your last day in one of the theme parks, too.

You can store your luggage at Bell Services until you are ready for departure, including items that need to be refrigerated.

And you can continue to charge purchases to your room on the day you leave. I love this feature because it is convenient and keeps a record of my spending on that visit all in one place in the "View Charges" section of the My Disney Experience app and in an email from the resort. If you have to leave, at least you can enjoy every possible moment.

Happy planning, David! And please let us know if we can help in any other way.

    Wilma
