Hey there, Dawn! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question!
In just a few months, you'll be arriving at
Disney's Vero Beach Resort, ready to unwind and begin your relaxing and magical beach getaway. How exciting! My pal and fellow planDisney panelist,
Tammy, is also from Illinois, and she told me that y'all have been having a pretty chilly winter up there! I know that you must be ready for some sunshine, sand and Disney magic! I'm also excitedly planning a vacation at Disney's Vero Beach Resort this summer, so, I'm thrilled to answer your question today!
I spoke with the most amazing Cast Member at Disney's Vero Beach Resort, and she informed me that check-in is "whenever you get here!" How magical is that?! She did say that, like the other
Disney Vacation Club Resorts, they cannot guarantee that the room will be ready until after 4:00 p.m. EST, but she encourages Guests to arrive early to explore and enjoy the Resort. Just check with the front desk to see if your room is available early. Checkout is at 11:00 a.m. EST, but the Cast Member stressed that the Guests are welcome to "stay and play" the whole day! I have been SO excited about my upcoming trip to Vero Beach Resort, but after speaking with her, I cannot wait! The Disney magic is alive and well, even at the beach resorts!
Dawn, you are visiting Vero Beach Resort at the perfect time of year! Not only will it be perfect beach and pool weather, but you will be there for peak summertime sea turtle nesting! Did you know that the beach at Vero Beach Resort is one of the most important sea turtle nesting areas in the Western Hemisphere?! Keep your eyes peeled for some protected nests while you are there. Catching a glimpse of a baby sea turtle would
so totally rock, dude! Sweeeeeet. Totally.Dawn, now, you should be ready to
rip it, roll it, and punch it! I'm wishing you the warmest and most memorable summer beach vacation! Please stop by any time with any planning or Disney Vacation Club questions,
dude. Totally.
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
