Hi !! We are checking into WDW on Sun Aug 14, 2011 we have purchased a 10 hotel/ Food package & 8 day park hopper pass. after we've checked and settled in on Sun and if we choose to go to MK to See parade or fireworks will this be considered 1of our 8

    Hi Cel,

Yes, as soon as you activate your card at a turnstile to enter the Park it will deduct a day off of your passes. I recommend saving your passes for when you can get a full day out of them.

Instead, you may want to head to the beach at the Polynesian Resort and watch the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from there. It's free and the view is fantastic. You could even grab dinner at 'Ohana ahead of time. Just make sure to schedule it early enough so that you'll be outside to watch Wishes, which is scheduled for 10:00pm on the 14th. That being said, you'll also definitely want to watch Wishes from inside the Magic Kingdom on a different night. Stand on Main Street looking up at Cinderella Castle so you can watch Tinkerbell fly to Tomorrowland.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation.
