    Hi! Checking into WDW on 5/30. My ? is how long does the check in process take and what time is check in? I have reservations at planet hollywood at 4:30 and wasn't sure if we would have time to make it over there from all-star music after checkin? Thanks!

    Hi Mary!  When you arrive on the 30th you can go directly to the All Star Music resort and check in immediately.  The 3:00 time given means that the resorts won't gaurantee a room until that time but you can still go through the check-in process and get the necessary paper work done before that. When your room is ready you can then get the keys and settle in. Often it is before the 3:00 time.

    If you choose to wait and get into your room at the 3:00 time then you will still have plenty of time to catch the Downtown Disney bus and get to your restaurant.

    Or you can store your luggage at the resort and get your park tickets and head out if you don't want to wait on a room being available.  Enjoy your Planet Hollywood reservations and enjoy the entire Downtown Disney area.  Return back to the resort later to collect your room keys and your luggage.  There is no reason not to start the vacation and fun as soon as you get there!
