I am checking in today, am I able to add the dining plan when I get to the resort?

Hi Samantha! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You must be SO excited to begin your stay at the Walt Disney World Resort! Staying at a Disney Resort hotel has many benefits, but one of the best perks is that you feel immersed in the magic for your entire vacation. Even after you leave the theme parks each day, the theme of your resort will help that pixie-dusted vacation feeling continue!

I spoke with a Cast Member and was told that the Disney Dining Plans have to be added prior to you arrival, so you won't be able to add it during check-in at your Disney Resort hotel. She did mention that you could ask the Cast Members at the Front Desk if there is anything they can do to assist, but be prepared to hear the same answer that they aren't able to add dining plans on arrival day.

Even without a dining plan in place, you will enjoy a lot of delicious food on your vacation! If you haven't already, you can check for last-minute dining reservations at Table-Service restaurants via the My Disney Experience mobile app. I often find really great reservations when we are exploring the theme parks this way!

Enjoy your vacation, Samantha! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
