Hi! I am checking into the All Star Music Resort for Saturday at 3pm. We were hoping to enjoy the park that morning before check in. Am I able to pick up my magic band prior to checking in at the resort on Friday? Thanks!

    Hi Sarah,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian!

I typically arrive very early in the morning when I start my visit to Walt Disney World Resort because I’m always so eager to start my Disney Day. Based on my experience, your MagicBands should typically be waiting for you at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort the day before you’re scheduled to check in, but that hasn’t always been the case for me.

If you’re already in the Central Florida area and it’s not too much of a detour, I’d recommend trying to see whether your MagicBands are available the Friday before you check in. If they aren’t available, or if you don’t want to make a trip for nothing, don’t forget that you will definitely be able to pick your MagicBands up the day of your check in, even early in the morning if you choose. They’ll be available to you well before your check in time, which will give you plenty of time to head to the Theme Parks that morning, if you wish.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect start to your Disney Parks vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,
