I was checking on some of the restaurants I have ADRs for in November and noticed that Akershus and Tusker House now say they require 2 Dining Plan credits for lunch and dinner. Is this correct? When I made the reservations they only required 1 credits.

Greetings, Jeff, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this excellent observation!

Jeff, your research is correct in that both Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and Donald's Dining Safari at Tusker House Restaurant do currently require two (2) Meal Credits on the 2016 Disney Dining Plan for breakfast, lunch and dinner. How you utilize your Meal Credits is ultimately up to you based on your needs and budget. My family prefers to pay out of pocket for these dining situations to optimize our use of Table-Service Meal Credits. If you opt to dine at these restaurants you can decide to either redeem Table-Service Meal Credits or pay out of pocket at the time of seating and inform the Cast Member serving your table of your intentions.

As a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you will have exclusive conveniences and amenities making your visit unique and memorable.

Jeff, your vacation timing is perfect as Epcot International Food and Wine Festival awaits your arrival. Get ready for a feast for the senses as you tour through the World Showcase. As well, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party begins in November, which may be during your visit.

We hope this information is helpful, Jeff, and wish you a most memorable visit.
