Hi Adriana, welcome back to planDisney!
Let's play a virtual game of "I spy." On the
Walt Disney World Resort calendar, you spied that
Disney Enchantment is not listed on August 18 and I spy that Magic Kingdom Park is closing at 7:00 p.m. that day. There is likely a private event occurring at the park that evening; perhaps Mickey is hosting some of the amazing Cast Members that are the heart of the
50th Anniversary Celebration! Since the park is closing at 7:00 p.m. on August 18, Disney Enchantment will not occur that night.
If experiencing Disney Enchantment is a must-do for your trip, Adriana, there's still time to consult the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar and possibly make adjustments to your theme park reservations. Keep in mind that theme park reservations cannot be modified, only canceled and rebooked via the
Disney Park Pass System. You must check the availability calendar before canceling any existing theme park reservations as the parks are starting to fill up for August. If your tickets include the
Park Hopper Option, you could also catch Disney Enchantment by park hopping to Magic Kingdom Park another night once park hopping hours begin at 2:00 p.m.
Disney Enchantment is one of two nighttime spectaculars that debuted as part of The World's Most Magical Celebration. Projections stretch all the way from Cinderella Castle up through Main Street, U.S.A., while dazzling fireworks light up the night sky.
Harmonious at EPCOT is another great chance to fill the sky (and your heart) with Disney magic.
I just know you're going to have some enchanted evenings during your vacation, Adriana. Please let planDisney know if there are any other questions we can help you with.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
