We are checking out and have our own car. We are going to the Boardwalk for breakfast after check-out. We will need to leave Disney property around 4:00. Can we stay parked at the Boardwalk from 10:30 am until 4:00 pm when we leave?

Welcome to planDisney Amanda. I’ll bet you are excited, this day sounds like an awesome start.

The day you are checking out of your home away from home is always hard. The breakfast you have set up is bound to keep the magic going. When you stay at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel you are still a guest for the day of checkout. If you stayed at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn you will be welcome to park there for the remainder of the day as you are still a guest. If you are visiting for a meal, when speaking with a Cast Member I learned you will be allotted a 3-hour parking pass for your vehicle. If you are not you will still have theme park parking included if you decide to spend the rest of your day inside one of the 4 theme parks.

EPCOT is just steps away from the area where you will be having breakfast. So if you stayed at the BoardWalk you could sneak over to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. The International Gateway entrance is located near the France Pavilion so you could finish your day at the World Showcase with some take-home snacks from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. The Macarons Collection travels well. Not eating the whole collection on the trip back home will be hard but somehow with strength, it will be doable.

I hope this information helps you plan out those last couple of hours of your visit. If you have any other questions visit us again at planDisney.com.

    See ya real soon,
