Hello, Andrew!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with a great question! Nothing makes us happier than helping fellow Guests plan a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
I always have a hard time deciding which
Disney Resorts Collection hotel to book, that is why I am a big fan of split stays! The only inconvenience is that split stays impact your dining reservation window, as you are only able to make reservations for the duration of each stay 60 days prior to your check-in date. I have recently experienced this situation, so I recommend planning carefully.
If you are unable to make reservations, remember Dori’s words of wisdom and
just keep swimming! Several Guests end up making last-minute changes to their plans, so be sure to check the
My Disney Experience app as you get closer to your travel dates. Since dining reservations must usually be canceled at least 24 hours in advance, you might even find availability the day before your visit! In addition, you are also welcome to
add your party to the walk-up list at participating table-service locations (subject to availability).
I hope this information is helpful, Andrew! Come back to visit us if you have additional questions and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
