Hi, Lori!
An extra day of magic is always a good thing! I am happy you are able to extend your Walt Disney World vacation.
Disney Dining Plan credits are based on the number of nights booked on your Disney Resort Hotel Package. If you were able to add a night to your Package (which includes your room and theme park tickets) this will also extend your Dining Plan credits.
You mentioned "checking in one day early." I just want to make sure you made the necessary changes through your
My Disney Experience account and paid any upgrade charges that may apply. As many resort hotels are fully booked, it is important to make changes as soon as possible so you can reserve your preferred dates. If you have any trouble adding on the additional night, please
call a Cast Member who will assist in updating your reservation (based on availability).
One last reminder: Book your
Dining Reservations. With so many wonderful restaurants, it will be difficult to choose! You will find everything from character buffets to fine dining, so have fun looking through all your options. Reservations may be secured up to 60 days in advance.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. See you real soon!
Cathy
