Hi! We are checking into our hotel in the morning after arriving by car. We will also be checking online ahead of time. Will this be a problem with assigning us a room number etc since we will be there so early? I think they will hold our luggage right?

    Hi Tanya,

We always drive to Walt Disney World because we live less than two hours away, and often we arrive by 9 or 10 a.m. I make sure I provide our approximate arrival time when I check in online in advance.

The resorts make every effort to have your room ready when you arrive, even if it is several hours before the normal check-in time. More often than not, our rooms have been ready. If the room isn't yet accessible to you, you can still get your Keys to the World cards, your parking pass and, if you choose, check your bags with bell services.

The resort will send you a text to let you know your room is available and the number.

On the few occasions when our room hasn't been ready, we've tended to leave our things in the car and jump on a bus or boat to a theme park or Downtown Disney. Then we move our things in when we get back later.

I hope that helps. Enjoy every minute of your visit!
