I am checking into the grand California this weekend. I have a new military id card. Can I send a picture of it to you yo make sure I won’t have any issues checking in

    Hey there, Holly!

You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!

If you are checking in to a Disneyland Resort Hotel via the front desk you will be required to present a government-issued photo ID. And unfortunately, you cannot send it in ahead of check-in.

But, did you know you can bypass the front desk and complete online check-in up to five days before your arrival? Doing so will allow you to use your digital key to go straight to your room! Once assigned and ready, you can locate your hotel room number within the digital key feature on the Disneyland Mobile App. Then all you have to do to access your hotel room is tap the “Unlock Door” button in the Disneyland Mobile App and hold your Bluetooth-enabled device against the door lock.

To use this feature, you must link your hotel reservation to your Disneyland Account before your visit. Let me walk you through the steps to do this. First, log in to your Disneyland Account on the website and click "My Disneyland" then select "My Hotel Reservations." You’ll be asked to input your confirmation number, the last name on the reservation and your arrival date. Once the reservation is linked to your Disneyland account, it should show in your Disneyland Mobile App as well.

Enjoy your magical Disneyland Resort Hotel stay! Please head back to planDisney if you think of any more questions before your trip!
