Hey, Howdy Hey, Laura!
Welcome back to the planDisney Roundup; it’s so nice to meet you! I’m so excited about your upcoming visit and stay at
Fort Wilderness Campsites. My family also has an upcoming trip to the cabins later this
year, so I recently reserved a golf cart for us to use while we are there as well.
As a military family, we weren’t able to add on any discounts on the
golf cart rental. It’s a standard rate for all guests staying at the campgrounds. The price does vary between a four-seater and a six-seater, so if you are a family of four or less, you can save some money on your rental by opting for the smaller cart. When you make your reservation, you will need a credit card to hold the reservation, but your card will not be charged until the day you pick up your golf cart. This is good to know because after completing your reservation, you will receive an invoice that includes the daily and total cost. So it gives you plenty of time to factor your golf cart rental into your budget. Since making our reservation last week, we have already started a side savings for our rental to help continue to budget and prepare for our stay. I also took a look at the included Annual Pass discounts, and unfortunately, golf cart rentals were
not on that list. The good news is,
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is on the Annual Pass
discount list! So you can save some money there and enjoy a delicious meal with even better entertainment. Please keep in mind that
reservations are highly recommended, and prepayment is required when scheduling this dining reservation.
Laura, I hope this helps answer your question so that you can continue to plan out all the fine details of this upcoming trip. Have a magical visit, and please let us know if there’s anything else we can help with.
Ride like the wind,
Shantel
