Hey there, Sean! Welcome to
planDisney.
I see that you have a trip planned to the
most magical place on earth in just a few short days. I bet you are getting so excited.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is such a fun place to stay. My family and I visit there a few times a year and always have a great time. I hope you love it just as much as I do.
Sean, when you go to
Disney's Contemporary Resort for your breakfast reservation, you may be able to park your RV there. It is going to depend on the available space in the lot. Sometimes the Contemporary Resort parking lot can be really crowded and you won't fit. For oversized vehicles, if there isn't enough room at that particular resort, you'll be directed to park at the Transportation & Ticket Center where there will be plenty of parking. Then, from there you'll hop on the monorail and ride it to the fourth stop which will be Disney's Contemporary Resort. This is going to be up to the security guard's discretion when you arrive. If this is what you plan on doing, you'll want to give yourself plenty of time to get over to Disney's Contemporary Resort because if you do have to then transfer over to the TTC, it is going to take some time.
What I would consider doing Sean, is packing up and parking at the overflow lot at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Obviously, because it is a campground, there is going to be plenty of parking for your RV. They will let you park it there for the day. There are a few overflow lots at the campground but a Cast Member will be able to direct you to the one that they are currently using. Then, after you've parked your RV, hop on a bus over to
Magic Kingdom Park. From there, it's a quick walk over to Disney's Contemporary Resort for your breakfast. If it is raining, or you just don't want to walk, you can also take the monorail one-stop over to the resort.
I hope this helps plan your morning a little bit better, Sean. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Happy camping!
Jackie H.
