Checking in on 10/2/10 with family of 4,taking advantage of free disney dining. One member of family not able to fly in until 10/3/10. How will that effect the dining? Paying for all 4 of us starting on saturday 10/2/10. LOVE THE PANEL:-)

Hi, Stacey!   Everyone in your party (that is everyone staying in the same room) must be on the same dining package.   Even though one member of your party arrives a day later, the dining credits will begin for that person when the rest of you check-in.

Because your credits can be used anytime during your vacation, I would not worry about it too much.  I might save the table service credits for when your entire party is together, which means you can do 2 table service restaurants in  1 day, or maybe a signature restaurant (which takes 2 credits.)  This is totally up to you, just use up all your dining credits before the end of your vacation as they do expire and credits cannot be carried over until your next visit to WDW.

We never have a problem grabbing an extra counter service meal along the way or maybe a nice breakfast buffet on our last day, so I think you will find that your 4th person coming in a day late won't make too much of a difference in the long run when using up the dining credits.

Wishing you a magical October vacation in Disney World!  Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
