we are checking in the 23, we don't want to start going to parks until the next day,we have a 4 day myw. when you check in does that mean your 4 day package starts that day and you have to go to parks that day. can we do character dining this first day.

    Hi Charlotte!

Your four day Magic Your Way tickets are good for 14 days once you begin using them. The clock doesn't start ticking until your day of first use and there's no need to feel as if you have to go to the parks on your arrival day.

We usually spend our first night at our resort and/or going to dinner at one of the WDW hotels. Downtown Disney is a fun first evening option as well.

You may book a character meal your first day. If you will not be going into one of the theme parks (which would require using a day from your tickets), you can consider a character meal at one of the resorts. Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort is one of our first night traditions. The Grand Floridian has a dinner with Cinderella which our family also enjoys!
