    Hi, Checking into a Disney resort 7/10/16. Will we be able to utilize the EMH @ Hollywood Studios that same day? Or do we need to check in first?

    So wonderful to hear that you have you plans in place for your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! They way the Extra Magic Hours work is that the Cast Members have to verify that you are staying at a Disney Resort and this is usually done by scanning a MagicBand. If you have your MagicBand for your resort stay, you will be able to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours before you check in. I would also recommend that you do the online check via My Disney Experience to speed up your check in process. Hope this helps!
