Hi! When checking on the 60 day reservation process for Blue Bayou for early November, it's showing at least for Nov 1-3 it will be closed. Will it continue to be closed through November? I'm planning to reserve for the 9th or 10th when it opens.

    Hi James,

I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question! Planning for some sit-down dining during your Disneyland Resort trip is a great way to add a little extra magic to your visit. I know how exciting it is to have those must-do meals locked in, and I’m happy to share some tips to help you snag the dining reservation of your dreams.

Dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance, and places like Blue Bayou are very popular, so it’s possible the reservations have already been filled. I checked availability for November 9th and 10th, and I don’t see any openings at the moment. I know this might feel like a Bibbidi Bobbidi bummer, but don’t worry, I have a few recommendations that might still help you experience Blue Bayou!

Keep checking for reservations (especially the night before), as guests often change their plans, and a spot could open up. I also recommend visiting Blue Bayou in person when it opens at 11 a.m. They may have a limited number of tables set aside for same-day reservations, or they might offer a virtual Walk-Up List through the Disneyland app. These are great ways to still land the reservation of your dreams.

I hope this helps as you finalize your plans, James! If you have any more questions or need help with anything else, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always here to add a little pixie dust to your Disneyland planning.

    Happy dining!
