Checking on 1st cruise for us+senior inlaws maybe May 2011, want good price & avail. but what if health issues arise closer to time(their health or me pregnant)? If I had to reschedule-big mess, or doable? Would payments transfer? Thanks!

    Hi Stacia,

Welcome to the Moms Panel - you've come to the right place if you're considering your first Disney Cruise!  For most voyages and cabins, a $200 per person deposit will be due at the time of booking to reserve your cabins.  Payments can be made at any time after that, with full and final payment being due 75 days prior to sailing.

In the event you wish to cancel your cruise, your deposit (and any payments made) are fully refundable 75 days or more prior to sailing (concierge level and specialty cruises guidelines may vary).  You can transfer payments to another voyage, however the current rates for the future voyage will apply (not the early booking rates from your original voyage).  You can see the cancellation guidelines HERE.

Since you mentioned pregnancy, It's worth telling you that women that have entered their 24th week of pregnancy will not be permitted to cruise.  This is also true for infants less than 12 weeks of age.

Since we can't predict the future, I would go ahead and book that voyage as soon as you can - but this is a circumstance that would definitely warrant your consideration of purchasing the Vacation Protection Plan.

    I hope this helps!
