Checking in at Caribbean Beach Resort - when will I know what my room # is? And, since I am planning to leave my luggage and head for Magic Kingdom, will my luggage be in my room when I return in the evening?

Hello there, David! I see that your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth is in just a few short weeks. I bet you are getting so excited!

David, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one of my favorite places to stay. I love the laid-back atmosphere of the resort with the white sandy beaches, hammocks to relax in and calypso music playing around every turn. I think you are also really going to enjoy it.

If you check-in using the online check-in service, you'll actually receive a text and/or a push notification straight to your phone when your room is ready with the room number and a detailed map on how to find it. To use this service, be sure your reservation is linked to your MyDisneyExperience account. Then, to start the check-in process head to the "My Plans" section on your MyDisneyExperience account. Under your resort reservation, you should see the option to "Start Check-In" and you'll want to select that. This will walk you through a process of checking in where you'll choose your estimated arrival time and preferences on how you'd like to be notified when your room is ready.

One of my favorite amenities to use on check-in and check-out day is the luggage storage with Bell Services. I'm glad that know that you plan on using this service as well to get a full first day in during your vacation. Bell Services cannot deliver luggage to an empty room, David. When you arrive back at the resort, you can swing by the Bell Services counter and grab your stuff if you'd like quick access to it. If you don't mind waiting a few minutes for your things, then you can head straight to your room. Once there, you can use the in-room phone to call down and request your items be brought to your room. This is a complimentary service to use although I do like to tip the Cast Member helping me a few dollars. They work really hard and it is always appreciated.

I hope this helps, David! If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help. I hope you have so much fun on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
