    Hi there Sheri,

I am no stranger to sending at receiving packages at Walt Disney World, so I am happy and excited to share my tips with you here at the Moms Panel!

When sending packages to Disney Resorts, I have used both USPS in addition to Fedex and UPS.  While both methods are reliable, I actually prefer Fedex or UPS simply because US Mail has to arrive at the central WDW sorting unit first rather than be delivered directly to your resort which can sometimes take an extra day.

If you choose to ship via USPS, I recommend using Priority Mail with tracking since the delivery is guaranteed within 2-3 business days depending on where you reside.  USPS packages should be mailed at least 3 days prior to arrival if you choose Priority or about a week for regular first class mail. Even if your package arrives  before your check-in date, the box will be held with Bell services until your arrival!

I live in California, so when using Fedex, I will usually allow a week for delivery just to be safe.  If you are in the East, 3-5 days should be sufficient for Ground service!

Here is an example of how to address your box:

    Disney's Art of Animation Resort
c/o GUEST: Your Name ~ Check In: Your Arrival Date
    1850 Century Drive
    Lake Buena Vista, Fl 32830

The Front Desk can help you arrange to ship your package home.  They can take your information and payment right there when you're ready!  It's a good idea to keep any boxes you may receive because large boxes can be scarce and are usually only available at the business centers of conference resorts.

    Best Wishes,
